Le Beau Flower Edition is the 2025 limited edition of Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Beau, the one with the blue flower stuck to the bottle, and I've worn it a lot. I'd give it to Barney Calhoun from Half-Life 2. It's a nice, easy scent, but in all that time not a single person has complimented me on it.
It smells light and a little flowery, like a fancy bar of soap, with a bit of sweetness like candy in the background. It's mostly that clean, fresh-laundry kind of smell. Right after you spray it there's some orange peel and cut grass, but that's gone within minutes.
It's ultra light. There's no friendly fire with this one, since I honestly don't think you can overspray it. Other wearers say it's a bit louder for the first hour or two before it sits close to the skin, and most of them get around seven hours out of it, so it lasts a workday. It's at its best in spring and summer, during the day and at the office. It's super pleasant and won't offend anyone, but it won't wow anyone either. A lot of wearers also say the plastic flower on the bottle gets in the way when you hold it.
Yes, I recommend it, but it's pricey for what you get. The official US price is $146 for 125 ml (it doesn't come in 100 ml), and the European list price is around €138, though Druni in Spain had it for around €76 in October 2026. That's a lot of gold for a scent nobody will notice, so I'd wait for a sale like that one. It's a limited edition, though, so don't wait forever if you like it.
Buy it if you want a pleasant, office-safe scent that you can't overdo.
Skip it if you want compliments, or you're not willing to pay full price for something this quiet.
